Unfortunately I do not have iPhone or iPad here. But i've checked in my HTC One and Google Nexus 7 and don't see any problem as your described.
Can you try to check module in our demo system? And give me videos if you see the problem.

It was captured on my notebook with a trial version of Reflector, and shows the loading of my home page in two browsers (Safari and Chrome for iOS, in this order) on an 3rd Gen iPad. In the case of Chrome, two modes are tested: "mobile mode" first, when the slider does not work responsively when the device is rotated, and then "desktop mode", when responsiveness is fully restablished.

You will see that when the page is loaded with the device on portrait mode, the slider should expand when the device is rotated to landscape mode, but it is not doing it.

Conversely, when the page is loaded with the device on landscape mode, the slider should contract when the device is rotated to portrait mode, but it is not.

In both cases, a page refresh solves the problem, but this is not what we would like to see/do.

Or can you change template to default template of Joomla?
I'm not sure, but maybe it's problem with your template.

I've tried it, but your demo page weirdly shuts down three browsers (Chrome, Safari and a third one I installed called Photon) during page load. Tried with two devices (mine and an older 2nd Gen iPad from a workmate).

I'd recommend you to borrow an iPad and investigate it yourself.
