Or may be it would be better to use some other extension? For example, BT shortcodes says that it works for k2

BT shortcode doesn't work... It conflicts with Helix. I tried to switch helix shortcodes off and leave helix engine on - but got a white screen(
Kind of challenge for person whose last time deals with web were at html3.2 times )))))) So I uninstalled BT and made some changes to k2 files))))
Now Helix shortcodes works almost fine in K2 articles. Almost - because I don't like how carousel works in K2. But it's not a big problem )
