I just saw this extension on JED, and I am interested. But it looks like it does not support displaying the number of comments posted on the article and the article author. I think that is very important for a news/article display module

Joomla Articles don't have comment function in default, so we don't include param to show/hide comment.
However, You can show/hide Title, Author, Created Date, Category, Hits, Introtext in our module.
Please check my screenshot to see all params.

Every joomla comments system has a syntax for adding comments count, it's easy to add it to the template.

I have a problem the the module dose not display articles images (not intro, nor full or in article)

I have read this article before. It worked for one moudle (article slider) but not for all the carusel type moudles, this one or tiled.
