I just installed the Vina Awesome Image Slider, and am having a problem with the slider displaying with the following error message:
Warning: Creating default object from empty value in /homepages/9/d89901327/htdocs/cms/modules/mod_vina_awesome_image_slider/helper.php on line 56
This message displays 8 times on the page, and then the first slider image is shown. The slider image only shows the first image, does not auto run, and the neither of the navigation arrows or buttons work to display the other images. The thumbnails show for the other images when you hover over a button, but will not display the images in the slider.
I have the module configuration set to Get source images from directory.
What might I be missing with the module configuration, or installation?

I think no problem with Warning message. You can hide it by follow this: System > Global Configuration > Server > Then set Error Reporting = None.
About problem with auto run, navigation arrows not works, i think maybe we have problem with jQuery conflict.
Please check it.

I appreciate the prompt reply. I edited the general settings to remove the warning messages.
I installed the jQuery easy plugin, but still no luck with the Awesome slider module. I also tried your Camera Slider module, but similar problems (two thumbnails display, no main image display, navigation shows but does not work).
Do you have a link to some simple and clearly defined help on resolving the jQuery conflict?

Although I haven't had time lately to take another look at the problem, I too would like to know what is the problem, in some detail and how it can be solved.
I would just love to use Awesome Image Slider, but the JQuery issue must be solved.

Another jQuery Conflict situation is something really complicated and hard to find out. Its due to different versions of jQuery library in a single page.
Joomla 3.x has solved this problem by loading jQuery library as core feature. And we don't need add more jQuery library when development extensions or template.
I don't know why other developer still load more jQuery library in their extensions/templates (Maybe they using different jQuery version for their products)
I'm suggest you should check your website and remove all jQuery library not load from Joomla core. Or contact to developer, who load jQuery library inside their products to ask them remove it.
