I am trying the Awesome Slider and it seems to work OK, but I would like to be able to define the transparency of the background in the text box (and be able to remove it completely) and also change the colour of the text. Can this be done on the interface? How?

@Andrew Lyford: It's not easy to disable touch/swipe function in smartphone/tablet for this module. We still find solution for it.
I'm suggest you should use other slideshow if you don't want touch/swipe function. Eg: Vina Camera Image Slider >> joomla.vinagecko.com/extensions/?extension=camera_image_slider

I like your slider very much. It's a real cool slider.

One question: Is it possible to get rid of the small images which pop up when you hover over the bullets? I just want the bullets but no small images.
