I'm not sure where turn-off GZIP in your website. But it is not GZIP of Joomla.
Maybe it is a plugin, maybe it is a function in your template. Please double check it.

I found a GZip compression turned on in the Yootheme template so I turned it off. -No change.
So I also turned off in the template "Minify CSS + Data URIs" and Firebug shows no more "GZip".
And it works!
Well, for a couple of minutes.
While I wrote this post.
Then it stopped working...
Maybe your fresh eyes can see the problem. However, I wish I could keep using the different compressions.

I'm not yet do anything! I think it is problem with cache css.
And now cache css is expired and module working fine as it should be.

I've come up against a problem that I think is more of a Joomla issue, but is unworkable (#1) and another problem that is a short comming of Article List Slider (#2) and I have not found a way around it.

1. ALS shows up where it is not wanted.
In ALS, if you click on the article (title or read more) and the article is NOT in a menu, ALS shows up at the top of the new page. The ALS module is assigned to only the Home page. It is not desireable or practicle to assign every article to a menu to avoid this.

How do I get ALS to show up ONLY on the Home page and NOT on an article page?

2. ALS article selection.
ALS gets articles from "Featured Articles" and/or from a catagory(s). Neither of these allow me to choose the individual articles for ALS. I don't always want to make an article a "Featured Article", and catagories will (eventually) have hundreds of article in them, so choosing a catagory is not possible.

So, how do I choose the individual articles for ALS?
