i got the same problem as Lori, but in my case with Vina Nivo Image Slider. Is there a possibility to set an hyperlink to the image not only to the caption of each slider. I very much appreciat that if you could help me out.

We've upgrade Vina Nivo Image Slider to add link, target for image. You can download latest version of this module here: vinagecko.com/joomla-modules/item/127-nivo-image-slider

At least one question, Do i have to deinstall the module before I install the upgrade? Sorry but I'm a newbie in Joomla! and not familar with modules updates.

Hello Cobi,

You don't need uninstall the module. Just need download latest version and install it again as install new module.
The new files in the latest version will override all old files, but your data-images still there.

thx for this information. i tried it and the installation works fine.

after that i was testing the imagelink option in the backend, but unfortunately the imagelink doesn't work for me. there ist no image linked in the frontend and when I go the backenend again the link adress isn't stored anymore.

Any ideas what could go wrong in my case? I'm developing in a local server so it's not possible to give you a link to check. But if you tell me i could send you or show you the files you need.

Edit: If it's neccesary I'm using the "LIGHT" style of the slider.

everything on the beginning. my fault (I think), after i was adding some more new slides verything works fine, also with the old slides. Now the old Slides keeping the imagelink as well.
