@Joe Bedford: Now i see the problem come from your template:You can open this file and replace all $ symbol to jQuery and check again. I hope it will work.

I changed:

var $mainNav = $('#menuwrap').children('ul');

to:

var $mainNav = jQuery('#menuwrap').children('ul');

and it works (still needs jquery easy)

I found another glitch: article three should be open with the page is loaded (Default Open is set to 3) but they're all closed:

@Joe Bedford: Our module save the state of accordion items. So if you close it, then after refresh page it still close.
You just need clear your browser cache/cookie, then you will see default accordion open = 3
The new visitor will always see the accordion open = 3.

an article using {loadposition myposition} . I am using subcategories for the articles within a Category for the accordion. But they are all open and the open / close icons do not show... Am I going beyond the bounds of the module or is this something related to the template... using ProStar template...

@cheyennemtnman: Maybe it is problem with jQuery conflict. Please check previous post to see how to fix it.
