I'm not sure what is the problem with your case. Maybe it is problem with CHMOD (Timthumb class don't have permission to create small images)
Could you please post url to your page? Then we can check to see what is the problem?

We are pleased to announce that we have released new version for Vina Jssor Image Slider (v1.2.0).
Changelog:
- Add new params to control image, caption transitions.
- Add new Transition tools to view Transition for Image and Caption.
Now you can control Image, Caption transitions and use the effect as you want.
And we have added Transition Tools (inside zip package) to that allow you can view demo of each transition before use it.

I think you have problem with CHMOD. Please check your "Directory Permissions".
